Committees

Committees provide our members with an opportunity to give back to the larger association.  The time commitment for each committee varies throughout the year.  If you are interested in getting involved as a volunteer, please contact us here with your name, address and preferred committee.  Our bylaws require the Nominating Committee to be comprised of two board members and at least three Association members. All other committees must be comprised of at least two board members. The various committees and members who serve on them are listed below:
 
DEEDS OF RESTRICTIONS (DOR) & POLICIES COMMITTEE - Oversee DOR enforcement methods, approval of fence/building applications, develop and review policies as directed.

Plant Walk
Sunday, June 30th, 2pm to 3pm at McConnell Springs Park @ 416 Rebmann Ln
Join McConnell Springs staff on a guided walk to learn about wildflowers in bloom and other charismatic native trees and shrubs! Dress appropriately for the walk and weather. Monday, July 1st, 5:30pm to 8pm at Henry A. Tandy Centennial Park @ 251 W. Main St.
Sweeten up the holiday week with a cool treat, live music and children's games and activities! Food trucks concessions also available for purchase!
Big Band & Jazz - Big Band Boom
Tuesday, July 2nd, 7pm to 8:30pm at Moondance Amphitheater @ 1152 Monarch St.
The return of spring means the return of one of Lexington's longest-running and most beloved concert series – Big Band & Jazz. With a full schedule of live music planned, concert-goers can enjoy a weekly big band or jazz music at Moondance Amphitheater and Ecton Park. Picnics are encouraged and patrons should bring a lawn chair or blanket for seating. Admission is FREE!
