 It’s
almost that time of year again! The pool is scheduled to open on
May 24th and there have been some exciting changes to make your pool membership
more enjoyable.Shortly after the season ended last year, we installed a new liner in
both the pool and the kiddy pool. It’s constructed of specially
formulated PVC that’s 60 mil thick and will provide a nonabrasive,
slip resistant surface. If you remember last year, the floor of
the pool was course and tiles were falling out From the edge of the pool out about 18 inches we’ve installed a flooring called RecDeck. That also provides a slip-resistant surface and has no pieces to break off and cause possible injuries. You’ll also find RecDeck installed in the locker rooms as they were very slippery when wet and hard to dry from day to day. In 2008, you’ll also find only one diving board placed in the center of the deep end. That will allow the swimming lane to remain open for those that wish to do laps. Some more pictures;
Pool membership fees
The discount rates are available until April 27th. Mailed applications must be postmarked by April 26th. All adult members will need to get a photo ID made before they are allowed into the pool. No one will be allowed into the pool without a photo ID. Joining early ensures that you receive your passes prior to the opening of the pool on May 24th.
