Masterson
Station Neighborhood Association, Inc.
328 Masterson Station Drive Lexington, KY 40511 ABOUT THE ASSOCIATION Masterson Station is represented by a neighborhood association. Formally known as Masterson Station Neighborhood Association, Inc., the association represents the families in the Masterson Station subdivision. Masterson Station is located 2 miles west of New Circle Road on Leestown Road. The Association is governed by an elected Board of Directors and from this board officers are chosen which include a president, vice president, secretary and a treasurer. Masterson Station was developed by Jim Baker & Steve Hayden. Beginning in 1998, Jim & Steve started transferring the responsibility for maintenance of the common areas to Masterson Station Neighborhood Association, Inc. (The transfer will be completed when a determined percentage of the homes are completed, but until then Jim & Steve still have ultimate control over the Neighborhood Association.) Association dues, which are currently $48/year are payable to the Masterson Station Neighborhood Association. The common areas consist of the entrance from Leestown Road, as well as the shoulder area along Leestown Road both east and west of Masterson Station Drive, the area around the bridge on Masterson Station Drive between Summerfield Drive and Trailside Drive and the area around the bridge on Jaquelyn Lane near the clubhouse. Maintenance of these areas are expensive, and that is what the dues cover. The Neighborhood Association is not a police force. The Deed Restrictions do not empower anyone but the developer and homeowners to enforce the Deed Restrictions. Except in extreme situations, the Association will not get involved in disputes between residents. Everyone automatically becomes a member of the Association when they purchase a home in the neighborhood. The first year dues are pro-rated and are then due January 1st every year after that. If you would like more information about the Association, please contact us at the above address (postal or Email). A copy of the MSNA by-laws can be found here.
